Mark has had leadership roles throughout his career, as an EMEA Regional Director at JLL and before that, growing the City business and heading up the UK Offices group at King Sturge, having already led the City agency and investment team at Chesterton. Setting up Squarebrook in 2014 was a natural move.
Mark works with a diverse range of investors, owners and occupiers and takes the time to really understand their businesses and goals to give the best leasing, development and acquisition advice.
Now that he’s part of a smaller, focused business, Mark is really enjoying being able to spend more of his time on his clients.
Rupert worked at CBRE, King Sturge and JLL before establishing Squarebrook in 2014.
Rupert draws on 30 years of knowledge of the London market to provide clear and straight forward advice. He enjoys developing high level strategies as much as getting in the fine detail of a complex negotiations. When needed he does not shy away from taking new and unique approaches to find the right solutions for his clients.
A successful negotiator, he consistently delivers exceptional results and is rewarded with a faithful client base. His clients include private investors, fund managers, property companies, US and UK Law firms, insurers and global corporations.
Patrick has provided investment advice to a wide range of clients over the last 20 years including REITS, sovereign wealth funds and both private and institutional investors in the UK and internationally. One of Patrick's standout transactions was as adviser to LaSalle Investment Management, on behalf of Korea’s National Pension Service, on the acquisition of the Goldman Sachs HQ Plumtree Court for £1.2 billion.
Patrick has worked at some of the most well-known property companies over the past twenty years including JLL and King Sturge. At Squarebrook, he enjoys focusing on his clients who keep returning to him for his in depth knowledge of the London market and his market driven, conflict free advice.
Jamie has over 20 years experience in the Central London real estate market, advising domestic and overseas investors on the acquisition and disposal of commercial real estate, as well as providing strategic portfolio investment advice to major landowners.
Jamie joins Squarebrook from Avison Young and has also worked at Savills, Deloitte LLP and Strutt and Parker. His clients include Landsec, LaSalle IM, DWS, Schroders and M7 Real Estate.
Zara joined Squarebrook in 2021 as a Graduate Surveyor after graduating from Loughborough University. She has since completed her MSc in Real Estate and is now qualified as a Chartered Surveyor.
She is involved in a wide range of projects including leasing, occupier representation, development and investment.
Bryony joined Squarebrook in 2022 as our most recent Graduate Surveyor and is training to qualify as a Chartered Surveyor.
Bryony graduated with a BSc Real Estate (Hons) in 2020 and went onto work in residential agency. She is involved in a wide range of projects including leasing, occupier representation, development and investment.
Adam’s reputation as a legal and technical expert sets him apart from his peers. He delivers outstanding results for his clients across all aspects of lease advisory.
Prior to joining Squarebrook, Adam worked for DTZ and Cushman & Wakefield for over 20 years and JLL for eight years. At Cushman & Wakefield, he led the Central London Lease advisory team and has advised leading occupiers such as Sainsbury’s, Citi, Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse and Herbert Smith Freehills, as well as investors including Landsec, Hines and St Martins.
At Squarebrook Adam continues to build his lease advisory practice and works closely on multi-disciplinary instructions with the team.
Sara has been specialising in dilapidations for the past twenty years, advising both landlords and tenants across all commercial property sectors. She is skilled at achieving advantageous financial settlements, whilst simplifying the process for her clients and avoiding the protracted negotiations that are often associated with dilapidations claims.
Prior to joining Squarebrook, Sara lead the National Dilapidations team at Savills. Her clients include Abrdn, Bird and Bird LLP and Brit Insurance.
Adrian specialises in business rates and compulsory purchase advice and has over 30 years of experience in the London office market. He is an empty rates specialist, working with clients to minimise their empty rates costs and is also expert in compulsory purchase valuation, advising on claims both for the acquiring authority and claimants. For the last 15 years, he has also implemented and managed the annual revaluation for Crown Estate Paving Commission (CEPC) which involves 1700 ratepayers in Westminster.
Before joining Squarebrook, Adrian has worked at well known property consultancies, BNP Paribas Real Estate, Weatherall Green and Smith and Gerald Eve.
John is one of the rare breed of professionals that have practised exclusively in the City at a senior level since the boom era of the late 1980s. Widely regarded as one of the leading rating experts, John is a founder member (and former chairman) of the City rating agents’ committee; The RICS City branch rating representative; and formerly a committee member of the Rating Surveyors’ Association.
He has been directly involved in negotiating rating allowances to reflect the over-supply of offices across the City, securing unparalleled levels of savings for a wide range of clients.
John’s clients include FCA, JP Morgan, ING, Travers Smith, Watson Farley Williams, Barclays, HSBC, Lloyds, and the City Corporation.
